Before I share my thoughts about this card I’m gonna say that I’m not the type of card-make that gets a “vision” sort-of-speak of the card I’m going to make, not even when it’s a card sketch. There’s no real science or college degree needed to make cards. The only important this to have FUN! That’s it folks.
Although I feel more skilled than I was four years ago when I joined Stampin’ Up!, I feel I’m better now because like medicine, it’s a practice (lol), we’re all card-diologists.
My card was made specifically for the Pals Paper Arts Sketch 272.
MAGGIE MADE TIPS:
- Fringes. I added the golden fringes to the bottom of the designer series paper to stick to the sketch of the challenge (see below). I wasn’t sure how it would turnout, again, I don’t get visions in my head, I simply just tried it. Had I not liked the way it looked, I probably would’ve just taken it off.
- Vellum. I wasn’t sure where to stamp the sentiment and thought it’d be a good idea to use vellum. Pow! Loved it. The 2013-15 In-Color sequence finished it all off.
