I have been asked what I do when I’m not at work. I’ve only been deployed for almost three weeks now and after a 12 hour day, I will enjoy a nice dinner and perhaps study my professional military education. Yes, after 18 years of school, I still am required to study. When I’m not studying, I catch up on my email, and maybe if I have time left over, I update my blog post.
As I’ve written before, I made many cards before I departed the U.S. Why? Because this isn’t my first rodeo and I knew it would take me a month or so to get truly settled and into a “battle rhythm”. What’s a battle rhythm? It’s basically our way of saying, “getting settled in.” Let’s just say, I’m not there yet. But when I do get into it, you will definitely notice.
The stamp set used to make this card is Wishes Your Way. I love the other five sentiments… this set is one of the many you will definitely get great use out of it. Check it out here.
Anyway, I’m patiently waiting on the new products I ordered from the new 2013-14 Stampin’ Up! Catalog. Like usual, I want everything, but can only buy a few things. I hope to receive them in the mail next week. I’m so excited and can’t wait to start making cards and showing them to you. Until then,
Until my next post…
