Ladies & gents, boys & girls… I think I will start my countdown clock with this post!  NINETEEN days and a wake-up!  If you don't know what I'm talking about you'll have to rewind my posts and start reading here.

As my clock winds down and I begin another long journey to the motherland this card is dedicated to YOU!  Yes you!  You are here reading and I am grateful you enjoy reading my card blog.

In the last 5.5 months I have literally received hundreds of emails, cards, and prayers from so many of you.    I've been deployed three times and this has been one of the best one's ever!

Doesn't this stamped image look like a framelit label?  Well, don't let your eyes fool you.  It's a negative image…LOL.  I cut out the Chalk Talk Framelits label out of the Venetian Romance designer series paper and stamped the actual card base in Gold Emboss Powder.  It looks deceiving because I used Neutrals Candy Dots on the edges.  I absolutely LOVE IT! 

At my fifth month point the Envelope Punch Board was revealed and I just had to get one… not because I wanted it, but because I NEEDED it… LOL.  Now, it has become an extension to each card that I make.  I love to give a card with a matching envelope.  Do you have your yet?

HI friends!  At least once a week I cruise through my favorite sketch challenges and if there's enough time to enter it I get right to it.  This one is no exception… I immediately knew I loved it the moment I saw it!  It it quick & easy and I absolutely love the clean and simple layout.

I accomplished two things this last week:  1)  I passed my annual fitness test with a score of 98.3/100%.  Last year I received a 97.4%, so I guess you can say I've improved.  I shaved a whole minute off my run… LoL.  My goal is still to score 100% before retirement… and I'm not competitive… LoL.  It's just a personal goal.

2)  I ran the Air Force Marathon (10K) in one hour and 7 seconds!  Yippee!  I've ran 5K's in the past, but I took the leap and made it the 10K.  I was told I'm an official runner!  I seriously HATE running, but I had so much fun doing it.  My secret is that I didn't run for time… but for pleasure.  I set my own pace and didn't slow down and only sped up during the time I actually experienced a runner's high…LOL.  I think I was strung by the run bug… LoL
