Please forgive my coloring, I’m still learning… this is one of my many favorite stamps. It so darn adorably cute! How could you not think of the story of Noah’s Ark. Speaking of Noah’s Ark, I’m flying the friendly skies as I type this. (I typed this two days ago, so I was not flying when this card posted… lol). Technology is just so amazingly convenient.
What makes this post so amazing to me, besides technology, is that on my second leg of my flight a nun sat next to me. Well, there’s no one in the middle seat, but you get my picture. For some odd reason, I’m reminded of my childhood, and my grandmother, Nena.
Amazing what my hobby does to me. I’m mesmerized by the calmness I feel sitting on a plane high in the heavens writing about a stamp that reminds me of my childhood and sitting next to me is a beautiful elderly woman who has no idea what her mere presence has done to me.
I am humbled and inspired at the same time.
I made this card for a friend who announced to me she is expecting her third child and she couldn’t be happier. I’m sure she will be forgiving of my coloring skills. I used the Two by Two stamp set with some Story Time Designer Series Paper and Lucky Limeade and Real Red to add a little bit of pop to this cute little card.
