Elegant Butterfly

In the same way a caterpillar radically transforms its body into a beautifully colored tiny creature, we can transform paper into that same colorful beauty.  If you follow my blog you have seen the various cards I’ve made with butterflies.  You can catch a re-run of the Butterfly Thank You card, the Butterfly Wishes from Me to You card, and perhaps some Freshly Made Snow, with a couple Butterflies in Flight by clicking the titles.

I love butterflies so much that I offer Butterfly Rewards to those of you who choose to buy Stampin’ Up! products from me.  You personally receive more free product from me.   For those of you who would love a FREE Spring Catalog please send me an email (maggie@maggiemadecards.com) and I will get one right to you with a treat from me, just for asking.

If you have received a special treat from me with a catalog, please leave a comment.  I could love to hear from you.

Thank You Diamond3

Moving Forward with a Blimpy Birthday

BDay Blimp1

Through the Making a Difference program, Stampin’ Up! partnered with Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC). Each year, they design an exclusive stamp set to promote the partnership with RMHC, and donate a portion of the proceeds from the each sale of that set. To date, more than $95,000 has been donated from RMHC stamp set sales.

Mojo280SketchCard sketch brought to you at the Mojo Monday sketch challenge by designer Julee Tilman.  The card is for my newphew who at 21 isn’t a little boy anymore, but a young man who is pursuing his dream of someday becoming a major leage baseball player.  I know you can do it Nick!

HOW YOU CAN HELP!

You can help us make a difference. Purchase this year’s set, Moving Forward, and we’ll donate $3 to Ronald McDonald House Charities for each set purchased.

Whimsy and fun combine to make this seven-piece set the perfect choice for outside-the-box best wishes and greetings. Wonderful for friendship and birthday projects for young and old. Try embossing the images for a look that really stands out!

Stampin’ Up! an 18th Birthday

I have the best 18 year old any parent could possibly have asked for.  I thank God for letting me borrow one of His Angles.  He hasn’t been an angel all the time, but he knows who put him in my care.  Because of that, he gives thanks and praises.  The morning of his birthday I drove him to school on my way to work and he held my hand and said to me, “Mom, thank you for giving me life and the best childhood a kid could ever ask for.”  He had me at, ‘Mom, thank you…”

His favorite color is red and I mixed it up with a strip of banners from the Patio Party Designer Series Paper to add more color to the solid Real Red.  If you are on a tight budget and want to get your Starter Kit, make sure you add the Petite Pairs stamp set to your kit.  Now that you can get any product you want, make sure you add the items you can actually make more than a few cards with.  Stampin’ Up! has a suggested products list, but I can personally help you pick items out that will maximize your products to create as many cards as you are able.  Give me a call (707-646-1972) or email me and we will put something together for you.
