Can you tell which part of this card was done via My Digital Studio? How did I make this cool card?  I printed a card front with My Digital Studio then I simply stamped the pretty little cake and colored it with my new Blendabilities alcohol ink markers (coming out soon)!  The burlap corners were slimply snipped from the corners.

I’m in love with the alcohol based coloring pens, Blendabilties that will soon be out from Stampin’ Up! You are going to be blown away when you see them with your own eyes and they are perfect for those of us that do not know how to color, like me. LoL

Love You More

Last week my hobby saved my sanity… LOL.  I seriously can’t remember the last time one week felt like an eternity.  Thank goodness the week ended with the day everyone wishes love upon each other.

I made this special card for my son who has saved every card I have ever given him.  When I first laid my eyes on this stamp set I knew I had to have it for just this one stamp.

When my son says to me, “I love you mom”, I always respond with, “I love you more.”  I will keep this stamp set forever because these words are used in my household all the time.

It is the best argument in the world to have with your loved ones.  So the next time someone tells you they love you…  respond with, “I love you more!”  But what’s better than that?  Show them by making them a card with those words.

I used white emobssing powerder to make the image stand out on  Old Olive cardstock.  The added embellishments are no longer available… I’m so sorry, but that’s why you should receive a copy of the new catalogs on a yearly basis and the mini catalogs each time they come out.  Get yours today right here!

Isn't this the most darling stinkin' cute card?  If I confessed to you how often I love looking at cards on the internet you would probably call me crazy.  I can write a dissertation on the types of paper available to a paper crafter.  But instead, I'll just tell you that my inspiration is world-wide literally.

I surf handmade cards sites so much that I often honestly forget where I may have seen something that caught my eye.  But that's okay, card making is for sharing and we call it Copy And Share Everything.  I would love for anyone out there to use any of the sketches I produce and copy it to your hearts content. =)

I first bought this paper (Sent With Love) when it was available on paper.  I never ever used it until I made this card.  I don't know why I didn't use it, but I busted out with it for this card challenge.  But don't fret, it is still available through My Digital Studio (MDS), which you can get a free 30 day trial here.  The Sent With Love Digital Download is also available in MDS.
