Deployments are already difficult and although we hope that our friends & family are safe at home, tragedy strikes and we are saddened with the news of someone passing away.
My sister-in-law lost her mom this week and I felt bad not being able to reach out to her right away. So, I stayed up late to make her this card expressing my deepest sympathy.
As card makers we absolutely hate making these types of cards, but we know we must to let those we love know we are thinking of them in their time of sorrow.
The Simply Sketched stamp set is a Hostess gift from the new 2013-14 catalog. It was a part of the pre-order demonstrator’s were allowed to purchase before hitting the general public. I stamped it on Watercolor Paper and then used my Stampin’ Up! Markers to color it in.
