Stampin’ Up! Perfect Pansies

PPA Pick

I used the Flower Shop to create these beautifully gorgeous perfect pansies! They are a beautiful addition to any project. The Flower Show Stamp Set coordinates with the Pansy Punch and once you try them… you are going to fall deeper in love with them.

Funny thing though… I’m not much of a flower girl, but this set I just had to have because you can get it as a bundle.  Check it out right here!

This card is brought to you by Pals Paper Arts 164 Sketch Challenge.

To give the pansies a little pop, I simply used Stampin’ Dimensionals on two of the flowers. The dimensionals really give them that 3-D pop. They look absolutely fantabulous.

A couple of days ago, I shared how my sense of time was a bit off, but now I am back on track and boy did this week fly by!  I’m at the mid-way point of my tour and time is speeding back up again for me… yayyyyy.

However, there is one thing that has me going through various emotions this week. I’m missing out on Stampin’ Up!’s yearly convention in Salt Lake City, Utah.  It’s our 25th Silver Anniversary and from what I’m reading on Facebook, it’s a blast!  Everyone is receiving so many awesome goodies and I feel so left out.

But my Pals have pulled through form.  My Pals took a picture of me from my last deployment and have carried it around and taken pictures and shared it on our private Facebook page.  I feel so loved that they have taken time from their fun to honor me.

Here my picture is on a chair to honor me at the Convention.  Boy, do I feel so loved.
Here I am with Ronald McDonald.  Stampin’ Up! partners with Ronald McDonald House Charities® (RMHC) to bring comfort and creativity to the lives of Ronald McDonald House guests. Each year, thousands of families stay at more than 160 independently operated Ronald McDonald Houses in North America.  These Houses serve as temporary homes for the families of seriously ill children who are being treated in nearby hospitals.  See the special stamp here

  1. I just LOVE your card! I don’t know why, but everything speaks to me. The colors, the design, the pansy. Just perfect.

  2. Maggie- I didn’t know you were deployed! You are the heroine! That is very hard. My husband was deployed several years ago and it was so difficult in so many ways for both of us. If you are stamping “over there”, what great therapy! My stamping and card making here in St. Louis are my mental health therapy, and…IT WORKS! Plus makes me happy. I see your cards and blog from time to time. Now I will have much more respect! And now I get it – why you have a grey tee on in your picture. I didn’t get to go to convention either, so there are 2 of us. Much LOVE

  3. You really rocked this sketch and the DSP. Perfect balance of flowers and pattern. Congrats on being a PPA Pick!

  4. Oh my gosh, there’s so much to love about this card! The flowers, the colors, the patterns and the details. I love how you matted the banners, too. Really great card! Thanks for sharing with us at Pals Paper Arts this week!

  5. It was great seeing your picture in the closing convention review. Sorry you couldn’t be there in person. I enjoy your blog. Thanks for sharing your creative ideas.

  6. Maggie, this is a gorgeous card! I love the pansies and how you backed the banners to make them ” pop”! Glad you played along with the Pals this week

  7. Vanessa, thank you so much for the sweet email. I wish you were one of my Pals in my Circle of Pals. You’d have access to all that was happening live at the convention. I lived it through our private FB page. I was so green with envy, but I’m certain I will be there next year. Maybe you can be there too and we can meet. =)
