Melon Mambo has officially become my new favorite card stock color… for now (lol).  It is so bold and bright your only thoughts are sweetness and fuzzy warm thoughts.  The cupcake stamp is a from the Patterns Occasions stamp set that you will find in the upcoming Sale-A-Bration on January 22nd.  Request a FREE Spring catalog now and I’ll also include a Sale-A-Bration brochure.

As usual, I used Freshly Made Sketches #68 to make my Cupcake Birthday card and I would love for you to leave a comment and tell me if you think it was wise to also use a strip of basic black cardstock into the sketch. =)

  3. So cute!! Will have to try!

  4. Maggie, Fab color combos and I adore the hexagons! They totally won me over. Awesome 😉

  5. Great card Maggie! I love that little cupcake! Fun colours! Love the bling! Thanks for joining us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

  6. Absolutely! Pink, Black and Gray all go together…! Melon Mambo has long been a favorite of the pinks for me as well! TFS!

  7. I love the candle ~ and black goes with everything, very stylish.

  8. Your card is so adorable! I love the colors you used! Have a great day! Your friend, Sarah Biswabic

  9. Really cute card. Melon Mambo is one of my current favorites, as well. I have so many favorites! Hexagons seem to be the “thing” right now. I’m seeing them everywhere. What a fun way to incorporate them in your card.

  10. Lovely card! I really like the hexagon’s and the melon mambo color. How do you cut the hexagon’s? I see the paper on-line; but, wondered if you cut them by hand with scissors, paper cutter or is there a hexagon die or a punch? Thank you for sharing! I enjoy your site and love to learn.
