I just want to say a million Thank You’s to you my faithful blog readers and my brand new subscribers for following me. I am humbled and feel the love shared by your sweet emails. I’m on my third deployment and the only thing I regret about the first two deployments is not having had a blog or been a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator.
Although the military does a fantabulous job at providing us top notch entertainment and things to do, I have been gone a month and NOT once been bored. I’m now in a routine that keeps me busy when I’m not at work and at the same time allows me to go for a run, have dinner, watch a movie, play Bingo, and BEST of all make cards!!!
Please leave a comment and let me know what kinds of things you would like to know about deployments. I would love to hear your thoughts.
I think this may be the last card I post that was made prior to my deployment. I thought way ahead of time and pre-made ALL of my May birthday cards because I knew I wouldn’t have time the first few weeks to stamp while getting settled in. I especially made this card for my son’s dad who’s favorite color is red and he loves music to no end.
If you haven’t bought the Itty Bitty Banners (Clear 126257/Wood 132022) you can buy them now and in the new 2013 Catalog. You have the option of also purchasing the Itty Bitty Framelits that are a perfect match to cut out the cute banners.
You also lucked out with the Natural Composition Specialty Paper! It didn’t RETIRE! Yayyyyy!!! Make your purchase today and receive a card from me while I’m deployed. I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to send you a card.

I am here just to say “Thank you!” for your loyal service in the USAF. You are very special my stamping friend! Keep up the great work! Love you!
First of all, I want to thank you for your service to our country. My husband and I and our church are very big on honoring the military. My husband is a Viet Nam veteran. He is retired from General Motors and a janitor for our Christian school. I am a stay at home Grandma who loves watching our 4 year old granddaughter a couple of days a week. God has been so good to Steve and our family. I can pretty much do what I want and I love making cards and sewing. I will pray for your safe return.
Hi Maggie, love your card. I love the musical notes. When I see them, I always have a song pop in to my head. That composition paper looks lovely. Do you have set hours as a group? Like do you go to breakfast at a certain time every day, then maybe exercise, then to work, and so on or do you just get up and dive right in to the work? Or, are you pretty much on your own schedule to do what you want, when you want? Thanks for sharing Maggie. God Bless!
