Over the weekend I finally took my own advice. I spend a few hours each day first thing in the morning before anyone woke up in my craft room. I had a couple projects to work on because they are time sensitive. Besides discipline is supposed to be my forté right!? I haven’t been in the military for 24 years for nothing.
When I share my love for paper crafts I often hear, “oh, I’m not crafty”. Oh boy, those words are music to my ears because I become determined to show them that their definition of not being crafty is not in the standard stampers vocabulary… HA!
Blog Candy for Two Lucky Winners: Who wants to know what it feels like to receive a handmade card? I will send you one of my Maggie Made Cards and SIX Happenings Simply Created cards for you to put together and send them to six people on your list. You will be amazed at how you will make them feel. So, put your hand down and tell me which stamp set from the Spring Catalog is your favorite. A winner will be announced on Sat., March 1st.
An extremely talented fellow demonstrator & friend, Bring King joined the Fab Friday design team and I have decided to enter this weeks card sketch challenge in his honor. I hope he doesn’t deny my friendship because if he does then I’ll have to send him an envelope full of glitter… LOL.
Lesson to Be Learned: I’m not an expert when it comes to color, heck, I can barely dress myself with my inability to color coordinate. Thank goodness I wear a uniform during the week… LOL. I do have a secret weapon though… my Color Coach! It helps me with color coordination without having to “think” about what color will match my card stock. Our own Designer Series Paper is marked with all the coordinating card stock right on the packaging.
