Halloween Skeleton from a Pretty Pal

Halloween

Shirley Sumption is the creator of this awesome card!  Thanks so much for letting me know.  Some of the slips that came with the cards were lost somewhere between Salt Lake City and me going through them one by one.

You can find detailed instructions on how she put it together here.

Yet another card from one of my sweet Pals!  Most everyone knows that I'm not into scary Halloween stuff, but I like the cute decorations and this card is one of my favorites.  I'm sharing most of the cards with you as I prepare to redeploy for home because I've already sent all my card-making supplies home.

I thought I would have severe crafting withdraw, but it hasn't been bad.  Between posting my Pal's cards and My Digital Studio… I'm doing well.  I'm really getting to know MDS so much more that a few days ago I posted about my new banner.  It would be awesome if you gave me some color choices in comments below for my November colors.

  1. Hi Maggie,
Such a cute card! I am glad that MDS is a good outlet for you. I have it but I am not really quite sure what I am doing! I need to take the time to watch some video tutorials on it.
I think Crushed Curry and Cherry Cobbler are excellent together! I would add a green, probably Old Olive. I am a big fan of fall colors!
How many days left until you redeploy?
    Have a great day!

  2. OMGosh…I cracked up laughing at this card. It was really ‘brought to life’ with the cut out arms on the skeleton. Pun intended! HaHa! Too funny with the skeleton holding that ticket. How creative! Adorable card!

I’m glad that you are not having too bad of paper crafting withdrawals. I’m glad that you have MDS to work with too! I would go absolutely crazy if I didn’t have my paper to work with!

My fave Fall colors are Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Pumpkin Pie and Old Olive. How’s that for colors??

    Have a great weekend!
