Forget the Birthday… Just Make a Wish!

Who said a card has to be full of thrills, ribbon, or lace to make it a good one?  Exactly!  It doesn’t need to have layers upon layers of fluff to make it clean and simple.

For quick & easy:  I layered  Marina Mist and Very Vanilla cardstock then took a small piece of scrap from the International Bazaar and rolled it to make the candle.  A small piece of Daffodil Delight card stock was glued inside to give it a flame.  The make a wish sentiment is from the Sweet Essentials stamp set.

I think my cousin Ray will appreciate this card because he will be away from his family on his birthday performing his military duties.  Hope you had a great birthday despite having to work nights.
