Maggie Made Tips:

  • New Framelits Dies. You’re going to be heart over stamps in love with the new heart framelit dies coming to you tomorrow!
  • Stamped and Cut. Yes, it’s that easy. I stamped the image and then used one of the 15 dies in the set.
  • Sweet & Sassy Framelits Dies. Yes!..there are 15 dies in the set. Holy Moly, you’re going be able to die-cut so many sizes.

It’s All About Flowers at the SIP with #49

Enjoy the Little Things

The other day when I initially viewed the Chewbacca Mom viral video I laughed so hard (I cried).  As the video played I immediately thought of his stamp set at the end of her video.  She said it was the simple joys and we should all truly “Enjoy the Little Things” in life.  Her laughter was contagious and so is card-making. =)

Maggie’s Made Tips:

  • Swirly Scribbles New Die-Cuts: You’re going to be in heaven with all the new die-cuts in the new catalog. I had to purchase this one because it has so many uses…this is just one and you are going to squirm when you see the others.
  • Layering Love Clear Stamp Set:  All you have to do to see the other stamps in the set is click the link!!!  OMG! I love that Stampin’ Up! now has these fonts in their inventory.  I show only the clear stamp sets because that is my preference.  If you love wood then you can see it here.
  • Cardstock.  I usually do not list the colors because in all honesty you can choose whatever are your favorite colors.  But if you’d like me to start adding the links to the card stock please send me a message.

Here For You…Magical Three Letter Words

Here For You

There are no better words to tell someone you are there for them.  I can tell you from first-hand experience when I’ve gone through a tough time those three letter words, “HERE FOR YOU” have so much meaning behind them in a card.  During the rough times in life, it’s unfortunate we all go through them at one time or another, but this little card can instantly uplift the spirit and serve as some ‘soup for the soul’.

1

Today’s three little words card is brought to you for the Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge with a fabulous card sketch by Patti MacLeith.  The layout reminds me of a piece of art that belongs in a museum doesn’t it?  I’d love to see what you can come up with.

MAGGIE MADE TIPS:

  • Pop An Embellishment.  The little flower on the upper left-hand side is popped up with a piece of foam sheet I picked up at Michael’s and used my Big Shot to cut out the little flower from the Rose Wonder Framelit.  I then ran it through my Xyron on both the cardstock and foam die-cut pieces.  It layered perfectly and gave the flower a little liftoff the 3-D effect.  Try it on your next project.

I WELCOME HOBBY STAMPERS!   I offer a NO pressure, NO sales type of group and when you join Stampin’ Up! thru me you get just that!  What makes me different from all other demonstrators?  I have a money-back guarantee….if I fail you and ever ask you about staying a demo, I will refund you every penny you spent to join?  Why?  Because some people just don’t want to be bothered.  You can read more about it here and become part of the virtual community of fellow stampers with access to exclusive resources, private stamping chats and endless ideas!  There’s no obligation to sell and no penalty to drop and it’s RISK FREE!

World Tour with Pals Paper Arts 288

World Tour

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge.  This week I’ve been thanking my lucky stars for so many things in my life and the first one starts with this very blog I’m blessed with.  Second are my blog followers, you are the stars in my sky.

PPA288

Maggie Made Tips:

  • Unintentional border:  The world has no borders, but I made an unintentional one with the oversized Circle framelits.  If you don’t like to fussy-cut, like me, the framelits and/or punches can make a “just the right size” border for your image.  It may not work with every stamp, but the rounds and squares are perfect!

Believe and SIP #35

Belive

Do I believe?  Absolutely!  Believe what?  Just like Whitney Houston sang it…”I believe I can fly…I believe I can touch the sky…”  what a beautiful song.  When you believe it, when you see it, when you claim it, then it’s already yours!  I will teach it, inspire it, and repeat it until the day I no longer have breath in me.

So, this card was made for the Stamp Ink Paper Challenge #35 and since my friend and fellow down-line Charlotte invited me to the Scentsy World Tour in San Jose with her, I just had to make her a card because she’ll be retiring from the Air Force soon and WE are BELIEVER’s!  When we do what we love it doesn’t feel like a job…it’s the reason I stamp and do custom design. What do you BELIEVE in?

SIP Challenge 35

MAGGIE MADE TIPS:

  • Ribbon…Not Just for Bows.  I used a piece of Wild Wasabi Seam Bind Ribbon I had lying around to accent the stamped leaf in the Botanical Blooms Stamp Set.  I liked it because a) it was a piece from a different project and we should use up our left-overs and recycle and b) I really like the texture it gave than just cardstock.  Plus it matched the color of the Botanical Gardens designer series paper.
  • Jewels Embellishment.  What better way to finish off the sketch with the added embellishment??  I just had to use the matching Botanical Garden jewels because everything is made to go together and that’s what I love about Stampin’ Up!

Just of You and Stamp Ink Paper #30

Just for YouI was lost in Hawaii, but I think Australia would be another perfect spot to be lost at…LOL.  Reason I was late really was because I didn’t time my challenge card with he blog. I think too many Blue Hawaiians may have been at fault (LOL).

MAGGIE MADE TIPS:

  • Pearls Add Character.  I hate pearls, but I love that they add such an ‘almost’ antique feel to a card.  When I finished my card it was so plain I almost just wanted to throw it out and start over.  But I never throw away cards, so I racked my brain and the final decision was the adding of the three cute baby blossoms made of gold foil.  It still looked to plain and that’s when I decided I’d add the peals and oh they made me so very happy.  What product to you hate, but love to use? LOL….glitter?

Way Back Wednesday with the Puppies

Puppies Dogs

I’ve decided to call today “Way Back Wednesday”. Why? Because I used a set of stamps I borrowed from a friend that are from Way Back and it just happens to be Wednesday (LOL).  Throwback Thursday is tomorrow and since it’ll be Pals Paper Arts challenge day, I just didn’t want to wait two days to show these cute little puppies to you.  I mean, I finally got a little break from my custom made orders that I figured I better get back on track.

324.1

These cards aren’t to make some of you that wish you owned this set jealous.  It’s just to show you the cards I made for a craft fair/fundraiser that took place last Saturday at the local SPCA.  I fussy cut the fire-hydrant above and the sleep pup with dog house below to give them both a little bit of 3-D feel to them.

325.1

I didn’t just make these three designs, I included a few “I’m sorry for your loss” cards for those that have lost their family pet.  Those sold out pretty quickly.  Yesterday, I was a little surprised to open my email and find an invitation to the City of Vacaville’s Pooch Parade & Howl-O-Ween event on October 31st.

October On-Line Orders.  Receive one sheet of each design (total of three) of the Holiday’s Fancy Foil Designer Vellum when you place an on-line order this month.  Simply place an order via my on-line store and use Host Code: E3X9E4SK

Please do not select “No Contact” when placing your order.  Why?  Because if you do, I will not be allowed to contact you, even if you are a regular customer….and I will NOT be able to send you my FREE on-line order offers either.  Just make sure you select “YES, allow my demonstrator to contact me with order updates and other important information.”  Please know that I will never send you junk mail.

You Are More Than Welcome to Try Us Out.  My group is mostly all hobby demo’s who join for the discount on paper-crafting supplies don’t want the commitment of holding classes or being a salesperson (yuck right)!?   I welcome these types of demo’s with Arms Wide Open, so don’t fear a committment or a penalty if you sign up for the discount.  Heck, you can even team up with a friend because my team is a non-hassle, non-committment, no sales requirement team.  What does that mean?  Read it  here.

Pals Paper Arts Challenge #267

Just Because

Happy Thursday everyone and welcome to another Pals Paper Arts Color Challenge.  I’m literally coming to you from the friendly skies.  I took a flight across the desert to Sunny Hot Las Vegas where we celebrated my son’s 21st birthday!  You can see that original post and the sparkled up specialty candles I got him here.
PPA267

Talk about being color challenged this week at the Pals Paper Arts. I was under the gun for this one because I knew I was leaving for a little mini vacation and had to have it done before departing. Luckily, a special order was received for a “Just Because Card” and I knew right away I would make banners with these colors. I would love to see what you can come up with….1, 2, 3….go!

Wedding Buquet Inspiration for SIP #4

349.1 SIP 4Today’s card was an absolute challenge and the Stamp Ink Paper inspiration was a definite test for my imagination.  If a card challenge doesn’t challenge you then it wouldn’t be a challenge right? (LoL)

Challenge 4

I would love for you to enter this challenge and see what you can come up with.  They were real flowers at a wedding of one of the SIP designers.  Funny thing is that I’m not a flower stamper, but have recently bought a lot of flower stamp sets. HA!

349.2 SIP 4

Maggie Made Tips:

July On-Line Orders.  Receive a sample (one of each design) of the 2015-2017 In Color Envelope Paper.  Use it to make envelopes or on a card or scrapbook background.  Simply place an order via my on-line store and use Host Code:  9YXKNX3R.

Newsletter.  For those of you who are signed up to receive my monthly newsletter, it went out Monday and I included a project template that will never be republished or re-sent.  So, if you didn’t see it in your in-box make sure it’s not in your junk folder.  Newsletter’s are a one-time published email and I would hate for you to miss out on my FREE templates.  If you’re not signed up yet, don’t miss it sign up now.

Paper Share.  I’m offering a paper sampler offer and I don’t want you to miss out.  I opened it up two days ago and my first one sold out.  So I’m doing another and you can order yours here.  Don’t know what a paper share is?  It’s when you by a 6 x 6 inch cut of one of each of all our designer series paper designs and since it’s a shared sale, everyone  gets to try it before they commit to buying an entire 12 x 12 inch pack.  Does that make sense?  It makes perfect fiscal sense.  Why spend $130 plus and not know if you’re going to love every single sheet of paper.

Thank you so much for visiting me today.

Pals Paper Arts #256 Makes Me Happy

Father's DayYou’re only late to a party if you don’t show up (LOL). Today my card is my entry into the Pals Paper Arts #256 sketch challenge.  I am loving the Everyday Chic Designer Series Paper.  Anything black & white looks fabulous with gold.
PPA 256You have until tomorrow to enter this challenge.  This was a really nice layout challenge too. I love the way my card came out.

Father's Day

I want you to see the 3-D effect on the banners. You can’t really see the raised banner very well in the photo above.

MAGGIE MADE TIPS:

  • Never Enough Gold.  A card will step up in elegance when you add gold or silver as a layer.  The two diagonal banners look like silver in the photo, but the layer is actually whisper white. Ahh, the magic of iPhone 6 plus photography.
  • Card Details.  Card base is 5″ x 5″, gold foil paper is 4-3/4″ x 4-3/4′, basic black is 4-1/2″ x 4-1/2″, DSP is 4-1/4″ x 4-1/4″.  Banners are 1″ in width and eye-balled in length.  The heart is from the Itty Bitty Accents Punch Pack.

June On-Line Orders. Receive a sample (one of each) Expressions Natural Elements when you place an order via my on-line store and use Host Code: 7XAYE9K4

No Contact – What it really means. When you select “No Contact” when you place your on-line order it literally means, “Don’t tell Maggie I placed an order.” I will not be told who you are and can’t send you the free product samples. I would love for you to instead check-mark, “YES, allow my demonstrator to contact me with order updates and other important information.” Please know that I will never send you junk mail. I want to show you how much I truly appreciate your business.

Try it before you commit.  My personal story, I had never in my life heard of Stampin’ Up! until my first Afghanistan deployment in 2009.  Two years later…I was offered the opportunity to become a Hobby Demo.  I told myself I’d join just to get the free Big Shot and then quit.  Well, I can’t quit such a good thing (LOL).  I extend the offer to you, join for the fun, join for the new friendships, or just to get some great quality product at a discount.  Do it before June 30th and receive two FREE stamp sets offer!  Click here to read the details.
