Stampin’ Up! An Engagement Ring

What’s the best thing about happiness?  Having a friend who makes cards and knowing she is going to send you a one-of-a-kind engagement card… LoL.  This one’s for you J-Mart!

This lovely card is one of a kind, but the sketch came from Pals Paper Arts 165 card challenge.

Are you still looking at those two rings wondering how I made them cross each other?  I know I heard some of you thinking that… LoL… it’s so easy, but it’s a little difficult for me to make a video here, so I took pictures… click HERE to get the directions.

His & Her Engagement

Do you have a set of friends who are also dating?  Then they get engaged and you just don’t want to give them one card to share to congratulate them?   I was so happy to hear my friends, Tovi & Lauren got engaged that I just had to make them each a card.

Tovi’s card is a My Digital Studio hybrid (click here  to try it free).  I printed the she said, “Yes!” words from the Wedding Words Stamp Brush Set – Digital Download and used the 1″  and 1-1/4″ circle punches to create the ring.  I free handed or should I say free scissored the diamond silhouette with the silver glimmer paper.  The gold is no longer available, but you can use Champagne Glass Glitter.

Tovi mentioned to me that one of Lauren’s favorite colors was green and that is why I used the Lucky Limeade card stock to punch out the heart from the Owl punch.  Now that she said yes to the ring, her next step is to say yes to the dress.

You can click and view all products used for these two cards below.

Until the next post…….
