Card from My Son

Not only do I have one of the best hobbies in the world… I have one of the best son’s in the world too.  I couldn’t ask for anything more.  =)

My family knows that there is something special in giving a gift made with our own hands.  The meaning of the gift is sweeter and heartfelt.  I received this card made by my son a few days ago.  He managed to find scraps of paper in my stamp room just to make this for me.

A message for my son:  Son, you make me the proudest mom in the whole world.  Although I’ve been gone, you have kept up with your homework, received awesome grades, did your chores, and worked as my assistant.  You are a “military brat” that also knows the meaning of service and you understand what the word sacrifice means without ever complaining.  I’ll be home soon and I love you with all my heart.
