A week and a half ago my daughter from another mother (me) became a teenager. She’s not a typical teenager, nor a girly girl that needs to have the make-up, nor the heels, nor the fashion named clothes. She prefers jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers… and I love her bunches! She reminds me of myself and no matter what she doesn’t fall into peer pressure. That’s my girl, Leila. Now lets go play paintball again!
It wasn’t until this week that I realized Leila’s birthday is one day after my military anniversary.
