Take Me Out for a Spin on Fab Friday

I made my first ever rossette and it was easier than I thought it would be!  I took two 4″ x 6″ pieces of paper and scored it with My Simply Scored at 1/2″ intervals length wise.  I folded it at the score line as if I were making a fan and taped the two pieces together with Sticky Strip.

I used the 1″ circle punch on a scrap piece and put Tombow glue on the cirlce and held it for a few moments.  To give the pedal the look like it is spinning, I simply used a white gel pen and placed dots and lines on the petals.  Does it look like it’s spinning to you?  LoL

On top of the rosette I placed a punched out flower and ran the Soda Pop Top through the Big Shot to flatten it.  All the supplies I used are listed below to make it easy for you to order your supplies to make this cute rosette love card.

I’m on the lookout for you to join my Circle of Pals and get your stampin’ on with me while I’m deployed.  I only need ONE more to get promoted to the next level.  I’ve even put together a list of supplies for your starter kit, so you won’t have to stress about what items to choose.  Check it out here.

The inspiration for this card is brought to you by the Fab Friday 13 card sketch.  It’s the first time I’ve ever entered their challenge and I’ve added them to my favorites.  I found this sketch purely by accident while surfing other stamper’s blogs.  Here goes my first try.  Wish me luck. =)
