Hola Tarjeta Masculina

Hola/HiPara leer en español, haga clic en la bandera de España en el lado derecho.

I know that as card-makers we tend to make more girly/feminine type cards.  Guys are not into rhinestones, pearls, or ribbon, so we tend to shy away from making them until we absolutely need them.  In honor of all the men in our lives, I have started posting a masculine card at least once a week (if you haven’t noticed by now)… LOL.  You can find last weeks card here. Hola/Hi When designing a masculine card you do not need to continually utilize dark colors.  But you do need to throw in there the macho nacho feel.  Having been raised in a Latino household I know too well the machismo that comes with the male gender.  In all honesty, the Latin men in my life are macho nacho on the outside, but teddy bears on the inside… LOL.  Go on and don’t forget to add a pop of soft color to lighten up this perfect designer series paper for a personalized card for the men in your life. Hola/Hi I’m putting out a call out for local area (Solano County) interested crafters.  I’m offering FREE beginner card-making classes the first Thursday of every month.  But you must sign up here.  I want to ensure I have enough supplies ready for you to learn this fun hobby. Thinking Of You

Isn't this the most darling stinkin' cute card?  If I confessed to you how often I love looking at cards on the internet you would probably call me crazy.  I can write a dissertation on the types of paper available to a paper crafter.  But instead, I'll just tell you that my inspiration is world-wide literally.

I surf handmade cards sites so much that I often honestly forget where I may have seen something that caught my eye.  But that's okay, card making is for sharing and we call it Copy And Share Everything.  I would love for anyone out there to use any of the sketches I produce and copy it to your hearts content. =)

Thanking of You

A Gift for You

If you like the look of a well worn antique(ish) feel on a card then the Chalk Talk set is for you (no pun intended).  Recreate the look and feel of a chalkboard with this set.  The coolest thing about this set is that it comes as a bundle.  Check it out here.  Just so you know… when I list the products I buy and use they are the clear set stamps.

I am happy beyond my wildest dreams.  Not only did I have a great day at work… I came home to find out I was a Pals Paper Arts “Pick”.  My best friend is in my Circle of Pals and she attended last weeks convention and she has taken the leap from hobby demonstrator to building her business.

I’m on cloud nine right about now.  Stampin’ Up! is the best hobby that has ever happened to me and I can’t stop smiling.  Please leave a comment and tell me what you like about Stampin’ Up!, making cards, or any other hobby you may have?

Thank you so much for visiting me and having a one way chat with me… LoL.  Sometimes I feel like I can hear your remarks as you read.  I once learned about the power of positive thinking and I like to couple it with the Law of Attraction.  I saw myself the other day in Houston at the Leadership conference.

I figured since I didn’t make it to the convention, I should be able to make it to Leadership… LoL.  After all, in a couple days… I’ll be half way done and on my way home… yayyyyyy.
