Peeping Paul……What!?

Paul Wood You Be Mine

I affectionately call the lumber jack in the Wood You Be Mine stamp set Paul as in Paul Bunyan. He is just so adorable and I love his beard. I didn’t color in his beard because this Paul is a much more mature Paul…LOL.

Wood You Be Mine

MAGGIE MADE TIPS: Not in cash, but great crafting recommendations

  • Make the focal point stand out. Initially, the lumber jack was placed on the  Adventure Bound Designer Series Paper Stack (wood pieces), with Stampin’ Dimensionals, but he just didn’t look right. So my Circle of Pals member, Joy C. suggested I punch the paper and make Paul jump off the page. That’s exactly what I did. Thanks for your help Joy!
  • Paper Surgery. Did you notice the saw cutting off a piece of wood? To give the look of the saw cutting the wood I used an Xacto knife to trim the top half of the wood and slipped the saw underneath it and propped it up with a small piece of Stampin’ Dimensional.
  • How did I make the ring around Paul? I’m finishing up the video that shows you how and will post soon.  Sign up here to receive free blog updates and you won’t miss it.

Stampin’ Up! Leadership 2015

Last week marked five days of pure adrenaline filled bittersweet fun! Why? Because I attended Leadership 2015 event as a Manager and the fun has just begun!

Imagine walking into a beautiful hotel and the first thing you see is this sign.

SU Welcome Board

Let the fun begin…

Leadership Leadership   Leadership LeadershipLeadership Leadership  Leadership Leadership

My Stampin’ Up! life has brought me to great new friendships at a time in my life when I needed them most and they didn’t even know it. They are more than just friends, they are my family.

I want to take this opportunity to send out a special shout out to Robyn R. One of the event planners for Stampin’ Up!’s Corporate office. She is one of many who makes our incredible events happen. I first met Robyn at last year’s convention and I love her to pieces. She loves her job and she loves us. THANK YOU for friendship… all three of us (Justin, Nicole, and I) love you very much!

I had a couple of days of pre Leadership fun with my long-time friend Carmel (above). She stamped for the first time and I’ll have that awesome experience on my FB Page this week.

PreVisit PreLeadership

One of the best things that has happened to me, next to being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator are the special friendships I have formed. Justin from and Nicole from are my best buddies. Justin was also visiting friends and he picked me up from Carmel’s to head out to Leadership.

I’m also lucky enough to have family in Orlando, my sister-in-law Jackie, treated us to a day at Epcot. The memories will always be in my heart. Thank you Jackie for the fun adventure!

Stampin’ Up! is changing the structure of our annual Leadership and Convention events and will now begin to have events twice a year and they will also take place in Europe.

It would be so awesome if YOU can join me in July for the last annual convention in Salt Lake City or at one of the other locations this November: San Diego, CA; Dallas, TX; Milwaukee, WI; Baltimore, MD; or Tampa, FL.

I would LOVE to have you join me at one of these events this year. Click HERE to get more information about a pressure free MEMBERSHIP. Lets make great memories together!

Sale-A-Bration Is Coming Soon!

Yesterday was the Occasions and Sale-a-Bration catalog premiere and I couldn’t help but think about all the wonderful ideas I’m going to bring to you! The new amazing product is going to knock your socks off…it’s a promise not a threat…LOL.

Tomorrow I will bring you a sneak peek into what I was given and oh boy I get dizzy because I want to put every sketch inside my brain on camera for you right now! Okay, just kidding, I’m not dizzy, I’m just super excited.

Here’s a peek at the Occasions catalog that will run from January 6 – June 2, 2015. I’m itching all over to show you the entire product line, but I’m pulling my hair out because I can’t show it to you right now.

SABHowever, take one sweet long look at this sweet little Sale-A-Bration cover, which will run from January 6 – March 31, 2015. My regular customers do not need to fill out the form because you will automatically receive both catalogs the moment they are in my hands.

However, if you do not have a demonstrator and you want them click here to get them mailed to you.

Besides getting to see some really AWESOME product…it was an even bigger treat to hang out with a few of my Circle of Pals. We are a virtual community of demonstrators that share more than just a hobby.
Our up-lines, down-lines, and side-lines are very active in OUR success. We then take that success and pass it down to YOU!

Four Tiered Birthday Card

A couple of weeks ago four girlfriends called and asked separately if I was busy.  What!?  Me?  Busy?  I’m never too busy for my stamp buddies.  Well, they don’t know they are stampers until they get to my house.  Four of my girls came over on a late Friday night and we ended up having a stamping party.  So far, that was one of my best stampin’ the night aways ever!

Joy (my Circle of Pals gal) has become traumatized (in a very good way) about my saving paper… LoL.  She shakes, gets nervous, and giggles every time she comes over to stamp.  She’s given me a nick name of Stamp Dictator.  Tonight, the girls had a blast and tremendously loud laughter filled the air and creeped out the upstairs two windows.

I’m pretty sure the neighbors wondered what the heck we were up to.  Needless to say, we stamped some tiered cards.  Each of us used  a different stamp from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set because they needed to send different messages.

I used the Mixed Bunch & Papillon Potpourri stamp set on whisper white card stock with Primrose Petals, Gumball Green, Soft Suede ink.  I actually rubbed a little bit of ink underneath the Rose Red flower and I wanted to cover it up… LoL.  I didn’t want the sentiment to drown in the images, so I punched  a little bit of gumball green card stock  with the Modern Label punch and the sentiment with the word window punch.
