I Wood Like to Tell You Something

I wood like to tell you something… “I LOVE YOU!”  I might as well make as many Valentine cards as I possibly can to inspire you to make some yourself.  Believe me when I tell you that when you wake up tomorrow… it will be Valentine’s Day and you will be stopping at the gas station on the way home because you had no idea what to make.  Trust me, you do NOT need to be crafty or artistic to make this cute wood card.  In the next couple weeks I will be putting together a series for those who say, “I am not crafty at all!”

I quickly threw this card together by taking a 4″ x 5-1/4″ inch soft suede card stock and ran it through my Big Shot in the Woodgrain embossing folder.  I sliced an 1/2″ x 8″ ince Melon Mambo scrap I had laying around and curled the edges with my piercing tool and put some Tombow glue on the edges to keep it glued down.  Tombow works wonders!  Another two scrap pieces of Very Vanilla and three tiny button brads from the Vintage Trinkets collection finished it off.

Now, if you’d rather make digital cards… you have to check these out, they are simply A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!  Besides, in some of areas of the U.S. it’s freezing outside, so how about we daydream about love and spring?  (And if it’s not freezing where you are, then consider yourself lucky!)  Don’t miss our Officially Awesome Valentines Designer Template with its tiny, trendy valentines that fit in tiny, trendy envelopes.  Click HERE to view the new digital arrivals.  While you’re at it go ahead and click HERE to get a 30-day FREE trail of My Digital Studio.
